About Jahrobi

Jahrobi Ihsan, MBA, is a distinguished native of Trenton, New Jersey, whose academic pursuits began at Virginia State University before he transferred to Howard University. There, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems & Decision Sciences in 2014. While at Virginia State and Howard, Jahrobi was an active member of the drumline, performing in high-profile events such as the Honda Battle of the Bands, as well as for the Washington Wizards, the Washington Nationals, and talent showcases in Bermuda. Jahrobi is also an alumnus of the Watson-Johnson Dance Theatre in the Trenton area, where he performs in the Nutcracker Cafe au Lait and participates in summer dance recitals. Furthering his education, Jahrobi obtained a Film & TV Industry Essentials certification from New York University in 2021. He completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Capella University in 2023 and is currently a doctoral candidate pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Organizational Leadership and Development at the same institution.


An accomplished author, Jahrobi has published five books, including two children's titles. His debut work, Let's Be Real For Once: Unveiling Trauma with Nothing but the Truth, achieved bestseller status, leading to the release of its sequel, Let's Be Real For Once II: Setting Boundaries Once and For All, and High Vibrations Only: Loving Toxic People From a Distance. His children's book series, Jabbar's Ambitious Dreams, features titles such as Jabbar's Ambitious Dreams: Learning to Be Your Authentic Self and Jabbar's Ambitious Dreams: Grandma Knows Best. His literary contributions have been recognized in various magazines, showcasing his focus on healing and empowerment within the community.


As a young Black professional, creative, bestselling author, mindset & accountability coach, mentor, dancer, and emerging entrepreneur, Jahrobi is deeply committed to uplifting his community in Trenton. He has partnered with numerous nonprofit organizations to raise funds for families affected by gun violence, actively participated in community clean-up initiatives, and co-hosted a career fair at Trenton Central High School. His dedication extends to engaging with youth, as he has read his children's books in local community centers and preschools throughout Mercer County. Additionally, he mentors high school students, guiding them through the college admissions process and future planning. Jahrobi facilitated learning labs for HBCU students in a career counseling elective at Delaware State University for one year, helping to prepare them for professional success. As a life coach, he emphasizes accountability and mindset to support his clients' growth, healing, and personal development.
Looking ahead, Jahrobi remains committed to giving back to his community, aspiring to utilize his platform to inspire and empower others. He is also exploring the potential of adapting his literary works into film projects, with a vision to elevate Trenton by telling impactful stories that reflect the community's rich potential and resilience.
